Before my retirement, I worked as an Asst. Executive Engineer Mechanical in Tamilnadu Electricity Board of GAS TURBINE PROJECT at Basin Bridge Power House, Chennai 600 012.

One month before my retirement I met with an Scooter accident on 3rd December 1994 and fractured my right leg ankle.  After the operation (the doctor provided 2 metal screws inside the ankle in TOWER HOSPITAL, Anna Nagar, Chennai.  It was then burdened to start an orphanage.  This inducement continue.

I shared my desire to start an orphanage (for fatherless and motherless boys who are not able to live and study) to my father- in-law DR.K.R.DEVADASON who had the experience of being honorary. Superintendent for old age Home at Pasumalai, madurai for 50 years.

After 2 operations the doctors could not rectify the defect, So I approached the local bone setter for treatment.  Now I am walking with a limping position.

In 1995, we started with 6 orphan boys in a rented building, now there are 25 orphan boys in the home.  We are running the Children welfare Home (alis) GOSPEL ORPHANAGE with our own pension benefits and public support of 10%.

After a constant follow up with the Government of India we got the permission (FCRA) to receive Foreign Contribution in end of December 1999.

My wife (Mrs.Lalitha Anony Muthu) is a retired Asst. Head Mistress in a local Higher Secondary Girls School is supervising the Mess and discipline of the boys.We are both fully occupied in taking orphan boys. Now my desire is to increase the orphans from 25 and later to 100.
